Introducing Aeran Melancon – ThinkGenetic Intern

ThinkGenetic is honored to work with incredible interns eager to help ThinkGenetic achieve its mission of reaching and empowering those living with and at risk for genetic conditions. With each new intern rotation, our hope is that working with us will gain valuable knowledge and insights about the world of startups, digital health, and consumer healthcare. With that, we would like to introduce Aeran Melancon.

What one accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of completing my bachelor’s degree a semester early.

What are your hidden talents that most people don’t know about?
I am really good at number-based puzzles, and I can ride a bike with no hands.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Ice cream will always be my favorite guilty pleasure.

What’s on your bucket list?
I want to visit all 50 states in my life. 12 down, 38 to go!

What are you looking forward to in your time with ThinkGenetic?
I look forward to learning more about how genetic counselors can be advocates for the rare and genetic condition community.
